A 56-year-old man was in fair condition at BryanLGH Medical Center West after another man allegedly stabbed him with a large kitchen knife early Saturday.

According to a probable cause affidavit, the victim was stabbed once in his upper left arm and also in the area of his left shoulder blade. The stab wound to the shoulder blade also punctured a lung. The man had originally been listed in serious condition.

The stabbing suspect, Glenn E. Ellis, 55, of Lincoln, was charged Tuesday in Lancaster County Court with using a weapon to commit a felony and first-degree assault.
